Useful Verses



These are the verses which made it past the second draft but were taken out when I down selected to the most appropriate two commentary verses. If you are so inclined you can read them and guess where they came from.

Isaiah 43:25 - “I am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”

1 Corinthians 1:24 - “But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”

In the Old Testament the cities of refuge foreshadowed our release from the law. When the high priest died the guilty were freed from the condemnation that stood over them.

Numbers 35:28– “For he must remain in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest, but after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return to the land of his possession.”
