I hate you Joyce Meyer

We used to be on different terms, like sheep and horses sharing a pasture together, mostly just ignoring each other.
No more.
I was listening to the last 2 minutes of her show on my way to work before Alistair came on, and she was talking about worry. Don't worry, she told everyone, because it's not productive, it doesn't help, it only hurts.
I thought that was fairly accurate, didn't Jesus say you can't add one hour to your life by worrying?
She continued, "You know how I convince people not to worry?"
My thoughts raced ahead, "Ah, because God has sovereignly declared all things from the beginning, and He watches over His children. Because His providence is over all, like the Puritans said, Providence is the soft pillow of the believer? Isn't that what Jesus said next? Do not two sparrows get sold for a penny? Do not the birds cry out and He feeds them? Are we not more valuable than sparrows?
Wrong. A fraction of a second later she finished her thought, "I tell them just keep worrying until you realize it's not doing you any good."
The announcer came on, "That's all the time we have for today, come back next time where we will learn how to glorify God by enjoying Him forever."

It's one thing to teach people about your Christless thereputic moralism, it's another thing to co-opt the confessions and great doctrines that bring comfort to the real children.
That's it Joyce, you rotten non-believer. It's one thing to feed your goat friends, it's another to steal the lambs food to do it.
I'm going to pray at night that your "ministry" comes to ruin.
