The New and Better Hannah

1 Samuel 1:11 And she vowed a vow and said, "O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head." 
But Jesus asked not for a child but for all of God's children. Give them to me that I might give them back greater to you was the same prayer Hannah gave, only it was uttered before the foundation of the world in the deep places of God from the second person of the trinity to the first.
